Job Summary:

We are seeking an

AR/VR Systems Engineer

to develop an advanced

Augmented Reality (AR) situational-awareness system for automotive applications

. The role involves working across

3D rendering, computer vision, AR device geometry, and cloud-based AR content delivery

to build high-precision AR experiences for vehicle environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze

AR HUD or wearable AR device geometry

, including field of view (FOV) and eye-box constraints.

  • Model

    human eye positions

    and develop

3D geometric alignment and calibration methods

    .

  • Design and optimize

    3D AR rendering pipelines

using point clouds, meshes, NeRF, and 3D Gaussian Splatting.

  • Ensure

accurate 3D placement of AR content

using camera detections, HD maps, and depth sensors.

  • Develop

    edge/cloud services

to deliver context-aware AR content based on vehicle data (GPS, camera).

  • Integrate

    perception, rendering, and cloud components

    into a unified AR system.

  • Support

device-level testing, demos, documentation, and technical deliverables

    .

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in

    3D graphics

: OpenGL, Vulkan, Unity, Unreal, CUDA, compute shaders.

  • Knowledge of

    3D representations

: Point Clouds, Meshes, NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting.

  • Computer vision expertise

    : OpenCV, SLAM/VIO, depth estimation, PyTorch/TensorFlow.

  • Experience with

    AR SDKs

(ARCore, ARKit, OpenXR) and AR device calibration.

  • Backend/cloud development using

Python, Node.js, Go, REST, gRPC, WebSockets

    .

  • Familiarity with

automotive sensors, GPS, IMU, and HD maps

    .

Core Expertise Areas:

  • AR/VR development

  • Computer vision & depth estimation

  • Real-time rendering / GPU programming

  • AR HUD or head-mounted display systems

  • Cloud-based 3D content delivery

Education Requirement:

PhD in

Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Graphics, or AR/VR Technologies

.
