Key responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation by researching and developing new approaches for 3D asset and world generation based on latest advancements in the field of generative AI.

  • Apply new real-time, neural and generative rendering algorithms to the cloud setting in order to scale image generation.

  • Manage, guide and support a team of Research Scientists and Research Engineers.

  • Provide technical leadership to the team as well as hire, grow and develop talent.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical road maps and strategies.

  • Publish papers on top industry and academic conferences and journals, drive patents with high technical and commercial value.

  • Stay up-to-date with latest trends and technology in computer graphics/cloud rendering and deliver technical insight.

Requirements & qualifications:

  • PhD or MSc in computer science or other domain-related disciplines (e.g. CG/CV/ML related majors).

  • At least 8 to 10 years of R&D experience in computer graphics, computer vision or machine learning.

  • Strong expertise in graphics algorithms and/or machine learning, including: generative models, differentiable rendering, ray tracing, path tracer, geometry processing, neural radiance fields, diffusion models, etc.

  • Proficiency in machine learning, with a focus on generative models and 3D representations (NeRFs, 3D gaussian splatting, etc.)

  • Relevant experience in managing and developing a team

  • Well recognized expert with strong academic or industrial influence

  • Record of publishing research papers in computer graphics or vision areas

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
