In an exciting announcement from Arrival.Space, creators have reason to celebrate as a suite of new features has officially gone live. This release introduces powerful new tools and user experience improvements designed to elevate the capabilities of Gaussian Splatting within Arrival.Space. The update showcases the team's commitment to community-driven development, incorporating feedback directly from users to refine their latest offering.
SuperSplat Integration - A Closer Look
The headline feature integrating SuperSplat, introduces a streamlined way for creators to edit and manage their splats directly within their Space. It's quite easy to pop up the window for the full SuperSplat experience directly inside of Arrival Space, make your edits, and then push them back into the space.
Key Improvements in Visual Quality & Workflow
In addition to SuperSplat, a host of other notable features have been rolled out:
Spherical Harmonics Support: The latest splats now support up to three bands of Spherical Harmonics, delivering enhanced visual quality and more nuanced lighting effects. While Spherical Harmonics are responsible for the massive file size, they are also what bring the lifelike quality of the captures. This is my favorite addition in this update, as it truly enhances the realism of the splats.
Improved Splat Data Protection: Data security is always a top priority, and with this update, Arrival.Space has added new measures to further protect splat data. This ensures that creators can work with confidence, knowing their intellectual property is well secured.
Gate UI Overhaul: Managing content through the Gate UI is now more flexible than ever. Users can upload multiple files and easily reorder them, making for a smoother workflow when dealing with complex projects.
Video Processing Upgrades: Larger file uploads and faster conversion times are now part of the Arrival.Space experience. This makes working with video files more efficient, allowing creators to focus more on their work and less on waiting.
Advanced Features for Pro Users
For those with a PRO account, a set of advanced features has been introduced:
The ability to add custom collision boundaries offers more control when setting up scenes, particularly for interactive 3D environments.
Creators can now set a default start camera to ensure viewers experience the model from an optimal perspective right from the start.
Monetization options have been expanded, allowing PRO users to monetize downloadable gate content directly through the platform.

Stay tuned as the Arrival.Space community dives into these new tools, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with the Radiance Field method, Gaussian Splatting. You can find my space here, though it might take some time to load due to the capture size.
