Luma AI is back with another update to their video model introducing a new prompt type, called Keyframes.

Using it, people are able to select a starting frame and the ending frame. Everything in between can be prompted. It appears that there is still a five second generation limit, but the extend feature will work from the ending frame supplied.

There are some really cool abilities that become unlocked with this. For instance, creating powerful transitions, including day to night or a busy city street.

The Luma team has been hard at work incorporating early user feedback and introducing new features. Surprisingly, this is already the second batch of features rolled out, since their initial announcement a few weeks ago.

Keyframes is available for use immediately and will be also be available for users on free plans.

More to come.
