Luma AI has released an update to their mobile app. Since they've introduced Interactive Scenes with 3D Gaussian Splatting as part of their pipeline, people have been obsessing over the fade-in Magic Reveal that is generated when you open a capture.

The newly added Magic Reveal is now able to be exported directly from the app itself. Previously, you would need to record your screen and then crop it. Much better! Additionally, while not part of the update, the effect is now viewable on their desktop app as well. If you aren't seeing the Magic Reveal, try emptying your cache. Mine took a little investigating, but it's awesome to see it supported on desktop.

When you're in the Luma app, simply click on the share icon and then hit "Save Video". It will download onto your camera roll. The video will be titled whatever your Luma capture is called.

Luma continues to be available through the iOS App Store and on web browser. For those holding out hope for Android support, they are hiring an Android developer and from their website it looks like they're still looking for someone.
