Jawset's beta version of its radiance field platform, Postshot, is receiving a significant update.
This update introduces several enhancements, notably an improvement in display fidelity, which seems to be handling backgrounds well. Other notable enhancements include a refined crop box editor for the x, y, and z axis, complemented by advanced scene transform editing capabilities such as rotation and local translation.
A major feature addition is the capability to visualize and edit directly within After Effects, streamlining the workflow for users. Furthermore, Jawset has updated their capturing guidelines to help people create the highest fidelity captures possible.
The creative potential of Postshot was showcased in Usher's music video for "Ruin," which utilized Postshot's Gaussian Splatting feature.
It's important to note that Postshot's radiance field methods, including Gaussian Splatting and NeRFs, are proprietary implementations.
