It was only just a few weeks ago that NVIDIA unveiled its latest paper, Adaptive Shells, which produces high fidelity NeRFs that run at significantly higher frame rates.

In a post to their Twitter, paper author Zian Wang confirmed that Adaptive Shells is one of the winners of SIGGRAPH Asia's Best Paper Award. This joins Instant Neural Graphics Primitives with a Multiresolution Hash Encoding (Instant NGP) as another SIGGRAPH best paper winner.

Proud to share that Adaptive Shells has been selected for a SIGGRAPH Asia Best Paper Award! #SIGGRAPHAsia2023 #NVIDIA https://t.co/3MYf2Ln1mT — Zian Wang (@zianwang97) December 11, 2023

Congratulations to the NVIDIA team on the well deserved award. As more information about Adaptive Shells continues to release, we will keep you posted. If you are at SIGGRAPH, the Adaptive Shells session is Friday morning at 10:15am.
