For the past several months, Arrival.Space has continued to deliver a steady stream of new features, UX refinements, and quality-of-life improvements.

Version 0.77 marked a major shift toward simplicity and usability. The team introduced a cleaner UI, featuring a more intuitive Create Space menu and a new side panel that made navigation easier. Spaces now proudly display a creator badge that highlights the space's name, description, and creation date, adding a personal touch to each environment. Guest visitors also benefited from a streamlined interface, allowing them to explore without unnecessary clutter.

Mobile users saw significant enhancements too. New joystick and tap-to-move controls, paired with the ability to drag across the screen to look around, made mobile exploration far more natural. Perhaps most notably, collision capabilities arrived for Splat spaces. Creators can now edit and visualize custom collision meshes, or even generate them automatically, paving the way for more walkable and interactive environments. Pro users also gained the ability to set custom spawn points, providing more control over how visitors experience their spaces.

Building on that momentum, Version 0.78 expanded Arrival.Space’s toolkit even further. Dynamic Gates were introduced, enabling seamless links between spaces and even integration of web content. Editing spaces became much more accessible thanks to a complete overhaul of the editing UI, and automatic collision generation for splats was polished to improve walkability. The Gizmo UI also received attention, becoming more responsive and intuitive.

Mobile functionality continued to mature, with users gaining full access to nearly every platform feature while on the go. Splats also began casting shadows when directional lighting was used, elevating the visual realism across scenes.

Version 0.79, the latest major release, focused on making the platform feel even more connected and customizable. Spaces now appear in a clean tile view in user profiles, and users can upload their own profile images for a more personal touch. Creators gained the long-awaited ability to add multiple GLB files to scenes, dramatically expanding the creative possibilities.

Performance improvements were also a big part of this release. SPZ rendering became significantly faster, making spaces quicker to load and explore. PRO users saw enhancements to their toolkit as well, with new options to set custom spawn points and define custom screenshot positions directly through the UI. Arrival.Space also added support for signing in with Apple ID, making onboarding smoother for iOS users, and introduced the ability to loop audio tracks inside spaces.

Visually, the platform got a bit of a polish too. The Pro badge was redesigned for a sleeker look, notifications were made more visible and informative, and the search experience was revamped to be faster and easier to use. New features like frameless gates, Unicode 3D text support (including languages like Japanese), and custom collision offsets added even more flexibility and polish to the creation process.

Arrival Space remains free to get started and I have been noticing a steady uptick of awesome scenes people have been uploading. Here’s my space!
