Google Research, a hub of innovation and creativity, is inviting the brightest minds in computer vision, graphics, machine learning, and human-computer interaction (HCI) to join their esteemed team for Summer 2024 Internships. This opportunity extends to PhD students eager to dive into the dynamic world of digital media creation, including the future of photography, videography, and the ever-evolving interface between humans and machines.

Several of the original NeRF authors, including Ben Mildenhall, Jon Barron, and Pratul Srinivasan are all at Google. Google has also been working on Immersive View, within Google Maps. If there is a particular person at Google you're interested in working with, here's an overview:

  1. Submit a formal application:

    • Start by applying for a “Student Researcher” position (US, Israel, Europe). 

    • If you’re planning to graduate by December 2025, then also apply for an “Intern” position (US, Israel).
