Gradio has released V4.19.1, featuring the exciting update that Gaussian Splatting is now natively supported with Model3D.
Gradio is a platform that allows users to quickly create and share customizable UI components for machine learning models. It simplifies the process of deploying models by providing interactive interfaces that make it easy for users to interact with and test without needing to write any code.
The implementation is called Model3D, which was originally for meshes using babylon.js. However, it is now compatible with Dylan Ebert's implementation of Gsplat.js. Ebert's Gsplat.js is a Javascript library. Model3D now supports both .ply and .splat file formats, automatically loading the appropriate library based on the detected file format.
As a note, this is the same name as nerfstudio's gsplat, but they are unrelated to one another.
