Luma AI has released a series of updates and new features to their research preview of Genie. As a reminder, Genie is a Text to 3D tool that is able to generate 4 outputs in roughly 10 seconds. These files are exportable and downloadable for your use cases and people have been creating incredible scenes with the technology, despite it still being a research preview.
The Palo Alto based team confirmed that the following features are now live in the model:
You now have the ability to add a seed number and a negative prompt
The genie previews and refines now exist on the same channel you create the preview
Content style updates to the messages
Improvements to the stability of the bot
In addition to those features, they have confirmed that users will soon have the ability to add a Genie bot into their individual Discord servers. The Luma team knows this is a hotly requested feature and thus, they will be rolling it to individual channels on a rolling basis. Currently, Luma AI Genie is only available through their Discord. Genie remains completely free and commercially usable, maintaining Luma’s mission to make 3D available for everyone.
