TurboNeRF

Roughly two months ago, James Perlman called me with an ambitious idea. He was going to build a new NeRF algorithm completely from scratch. Today, on Pi Day, the EntrepreNeRF announced a early peek of TurboNeRF.

As of publication, TurboNeRF is completely open sourced and has a MIT License.

In order to get TurboNeRF running, only two components are necessary for download. If you already had it downloaded, you'll need to update both the Blender add-on AND the PyTurboNeRF bridge.

While this is just an early peek at the full release, the progress made has been astounding. If you are curious how he built it, James streamed the entire creation of TurboNeRF (from scratch) on his Twitch.

James' work was recently shown by Jonathan Stephens in a presentation, though TurboNeRF was not. This has continued to be an exciting week for NeRFs and it's only Tuesday!
