After months of open beta, feedback, and iteration, Reflct is officially live. What started as an intuitive way to make 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) easy to publish and share on the web has now evolved into a polished, production ready platform. With this launch, Reflct delivers major performance gains, smoother storytelling tools, and fresh integrations that bring 3D experiences closer to real world applications.
The groundwork was laid earlier this year with the release of Viewer 2.0, which introduced a cleaner interface, better mobile usability, and features like clickable hotspots, scene linking, and content overlays. These gave creators the ability to guide how audiences move through a scene, add context where it mattered, and stitch multiple captures into seamless environments.
The platform has been refactored to now run on PlayCanvas, a change that brings dramatic improvements in both speed and stability. Scenes load faster, interactions feel smoother, and performance holds up even on lower powered devices, where frame rates are now roughly doubled. Reflct also introduces support for self organizing gaussians, which shrinks file sizes by an order of magnitude while cutting memory demands by as much as ninety percent.
The storytelling tools have also grown more refined. Transitions between views can now be adjusted with custom easing and durations. Small details like this help turn simple navigation into something closer to a guided tour, giving audiences the sense of being led through a story.
The launch also marks Reflct’s step into a broader ecosystem. A new Shopify app allows interactive 3D scenes to be embedded directly into storefronts, opening the door for retailers to showcase products and spaces in ways that 2D images or videos can’t quite match. For professionals and studios, a new partner program offers both revenue sharing opportunities and visibility, with Reflct promoting certified partners for 3DGS capture services.
Reflct remains free to use up to fifteen scenes. From there, a Basic plan offers unlimited uploads, while Pro unlocks advanced integrations and enterprise features. They now support .ksplat, .splat, .ply, .compressed.ply, .meta.json, .json, .webp to be uploaded to the Reflct viewer.
It’s exciting to see the platform evolve over the last eight months into a performant and professional 3D distribution platform. To get started with Reflct, check out their website!
