The moment I saw a NeRF online, I knew that it would revolutionize the way that humans interact with content and moments in time. I also had no idea how it would be possible to create one. But the more captures I saw, the more fascinated and inspired I was to try it myself.
Unfortunately, at the time, NeRFs were still mainly seen as research, and thus had limited resources for the average consumers. That was the main inspiration to create Neuralradiancefields.io, to help foster awareness for the average person to see the amazing work being done.
As I continued to write articles, I thought back to ten years ago, when I first began to be interested in photography. It took me a month of looking at the results that other people were able to achieve, prior to myself going out and taking my first photo. This gave me the inspiration as well as the confidence I needed to go out and take photos of my own.
With this in mind, I am truly excited to unveil the next iteration of the Neural Radiance Field website. A full fledged NeRF Marketplace designed for people to upload and share their NeRF captures.
The marketplace is launching with over 50 NeRFs, for people to download and explore, with many more to come.
I'm excited to keep pushing NeRFs forwards to expand the community through this NeRF Marketplace. Please, give it a look and let me know any feedback that you have.
