Nerfstudio unveils 360 NeRF Video Support

On their Twitter today, Nerfstudio announced version V0.1.19 with the most exciting update that 360 data is now directly supported in Nerfstudio.

Direct 360 NeRF Video support has been a highly requested feature of Nerfstudio, though users such as Grade Eterna had figured out how to make it work prior. Now that the feature is directly supported, it will be fascinating what doors will be opened for Nerfstudio creators. As a reminder, Nerfstudio will be presenting during NVIDIA's upcoming GTC, so make sure you register!

For those in their Discord, the announcement was made two days early on March 10th with a few more details of the update. Other features include

• No longer using webrtc

• many existing viewer connection issues should now be resolved

• Support for 360 cameras (equirectangular video)

• Add patch sampling

• Add Triplanes

• Bug fixes
