SpearAtlas

SpearAtlas is a cloud platform that packages the output of a mapping or reality capture job into a single client facing project link. Deliverables land in structured rooms on what the product calls a Mission Hub, covering orthomosaics, 3D models, point clouds, PDF reports, imagery, video, CAD and plan files, interactive annotations and embedded URL experiences, so a client reviews one navigable project instead of a folder of downloads and viewer links. The company frames the problem as delivery rather than capture, on the argument that capture work does not end when the data is collected.

Gaussian splats got their own room in version 2 on 5 May 2026. The 3DGS room card accepts .splat and Gaussian .ply uploads and sits separately from the mesh first Space room, on the stated reasoning that splat captures need a different presentation surface from photogrammetry meshes and should stay first class rather than being forced down the mesh path. Viewing is full viewport with a restrained operator shell, and navigation runs in three modes, Fly for free orbiting look, Walk for floor aware movement after a guided setup, and Tour for playback through authored stops.

The splat room is authenticated operator review only, and SpearAtlas says so in the release note rather than leaving it to be found. Interactive shared 3DGS for client links remains on the roadmap, so an operator can inspect splat work inside the product today while the client facing half of the feature, which is the whole point of the rest of the platform, is not built for splats yet. That is the sharpest limit on the capability.

The rest of version 2 landed around the splat room across two months. Orthomosaic layers shipped on 29 April 2026, point clouds in the Space room on 11 May, and distance, area, height, slope and volume measurement on the textured mesh on 28 May, with point cloud measurement held back until alignment is verified. SpearAtlas keeps a public versioned release archive that dates each of these against a version number, which is more disclosure than most products at this stage offer.

Pricing runs three tiers. Free carries two active projects and 3 GB of workspace storage covering both source and optimised map output, with orthomosaic upload and viewing limited inside that allowance. Pro is listed at $79.99 a month and shown discounted at $60, raising the ceiling to 35 projects and 500 GB. Business is listed at $145.99 and shown at $120, with unlimited projects, 2 TB and team collaboration. The delivery feature set itself, meaning reports, orthomosaic maps, 3D models, imagery, video, URL experiences, CAD and plan files and annotations, is common to all three tiers, and what the money buys is capacity.
