Spline Mirror

Spline, renowned for its native support of 3D Gaussian Splatting on its free 3D Design platform, has introduced an exciting new feature to its repertoire with VR capabilities through the Apple Vision Pro and Spline Mirror.

Fans of this site will be thrilled to discover that Spline Mirror now enables the experience of 3D Gaussian Splatting content on the Apple Vision Pro. It can be downloaded from the Vision Pro App Store. We saw some of the creative and educational potential from Spline with the Gaussian Drumkit last week and now greeted with the addition of VR to its growing list of capabilities.

If you want to get started creating with radiance fields, there are quite a few platforms to help you capture based on your setup and then import and edit in Spline. Currently Spline Mirror does not support direct editing of Spline scenes.

Moreover, Spline seamlessly integrates with no-code platforms, such as Framer, making it effortless to display Gaussian Splatting natively in web browsers. For a detailed guide on utilizing Gaussian Splatting in Spline, check out their documentation and download Spline Mirror from the Vision Pro App store.
