Volinga

In an exciting development for the realms of virtual production, visual effects (VFX), television, and entertainment, Volinga has launched the latest version of its groundbreaking professional Radiance Field desktop suite. As the pioneer in providing a comprehensive suite tailored for professional use, Volinga's new desktop version marks a significant milestone in the industry, offering unparalleled local processing capabilities directly from users' computers.

The introduction of the desktop version allows professionals to process their projects locally, granting them full control over their work while eliminating dependencies on cloud services. This move addresses growing concerns about data privacy and potential breaches in cloud-based processing.

The desktop application allows the generation of Volinga's file type, NVOLs, with increased quality, alongside several enhancements designed to streamline the development process and improve the final output. Key features include customizable settings for hyperparameters, resolutions, and iterations, full 3D graphics processing with complete data privacy, and support for multiple video formats, among others.

Volinga's CEO, Fernando Rivas-Manzaneque, highlighted the desktop version's launch as a response to professional demands for a tool that integrates seamlessly into high-end production workflows, acknowledging the suite's potential to revolutionize how professionals utilize Radiance Fields technology.

"Professionals have been requesting a solution that allows them to use Radiance Fields technology as tool that fits their needs in high-end production. We launch Volinga Desktop with that goal in our mind. Even though this is a first version of the tool, there are much more features in our roadmap."Volinga's CEO, Fernando Rivas-Manzaneque.

The desktop suite update is available for non-commercial use free of charge, enabling professionals to explore its capabilities within their workflows. For commercial applications, Volinga offers a subscription model, ensuring that businesses can leverage the technology's full potential.

Volinga's commitment to making Radiance Fields technology accessible to professionals is evident in this latest offering. By developing tools that adhere to professional standards and workflows, Volinga continues to empower those in virtual production, VFX, TV, and entertainment, paving the way for innovative and efficient content creation.

The desktop suite for Windows devices can be downloaded directly from the Volinga website.
