Just weeks after the release of Volinga Suite and the major v0.5.0 plugin update, Volinga is back with version 0.5.1 of its Unreal Engine integration focused on making 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) even more accessible across a wider range of tools and hardware.
While this update is small on the surface, it introduces key improvements that make a real difference in day to day workflows. Volinga UE Plugin v0.5.1 now supports Unreal Engine 5.3 and 5.4, in addition to 5.5, offering production teams greater flexibility when working across projects with different engine versions.
There’s also broader compatibility with external toolchains: the plugin now supports a wider range of PLY formats, making it easier to bring in Gaussian Splats generated outside of Volinga’s ecosystem. This helps reduce friction when collaborating across different capture tools and pipelines.
Finally, Volinga has added support for NVIDIA’s new Blackwell architecture, ensuring the plugin runs smoothly on the next generation of GPUs as they begin rolling out into production environments.
The plugin and suite can be downloaded from Volinga's website.
