Eclipse Automation has opened Eclipse RealitySync as a free public preview on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro.
RealitySync debuted at Automate 2026 in Chicago in June, where Eclipse ran more than 100 Apple Vision Pro demonstrations over four days, and the App Store build is still version 1.1.1 from June 23.
In a 2025 Eclipse interview, Zalischuk said the company was creating Gaussian splats of all its machines so sales engineers could show them in collaborative one to one XR, and named Apple Vision Pro as the biggest viewing platform. Interaptix, which develops and sells the RealitySync app, joined that interview through CEO Bardia Bina. Apple Vision Pro also carries Empire At Sea, which stages 4D gaussian splat actors for ten headsets at a time.
On Apple Vision Pro, RealitySync places users inside a proposed automation system at full scale to review clearances, operator and maintenance access, and material flow. On supported iPhone and iPad models, the same project can be placed in a physical space. As fabrication progresses, Eclipse adds scans of the physical line captured at key points during the build, and reviewers can record feedback against a specific piece of equipment or area and share it with stakeholders and the Eclipse team.
Eclipse says the public preview demonstrates how automation projects can be explored across mobile and immersive devices, while customer project environments are private and delivered separately through participating Eclipse project teams. Eclipse is identifying active projects for a limited pilot, and interested customers are asked to contact their Eclipse sales account team. Eclipse has not published file sizes, capture hardware, or how the build scans are produced and rendered on each device.
RealitySync is available now as a free preview on the App Store.
