Native Android support from Luma AI is finally here. Of all the questions about Luma features I get, Android support is routinely at the top of the list.
Over the past month or so, Luma has slowly put out seats to their Android platform, but now is coming out of beta for all Android users. It is available for download directly in the Google Play Store.
It launches with support for their capture method, Interactive Scenes. Currently Reshoot on mobile is not supported, but you can still use the Reshoot feature on Desktop from Android captures. The app is currently available for people on Android 11 and above.
Back in early September Luma listed a position for an Android developer and now has an open position for a Senior Android Developer, meaning more is to come! Definitely apply if you're a good fit.
Luma joins Kiri Engine as the two Radiance Field platforms that are natively available on Android. Luma continues to be available on iOS too.
