For anyone who missed some or all of the Gaussian Splatting Town Hall, the entire event is now available to watch for free on YouTube, and the presenters’ slides are also accessible online.
My biggest takeaway was NVIDIA’s announcement that it plans to release both 3D Gaussian Ray Tracing and 3D Gaussian Unscented Transform in the near future.

Next Steps
The event was well attended and it would not surprise me to see more events and workshops emerge from the Metaverse Standards Forum and the Khronos Group. If you are looking for an event to attend this week, check out JPEG/MPEG's Workshop on Radiance Fields this Friday morning!
