Dioramix addresses a gap that has dogged the Gaussian Splatting space since day one: the hardest part of sharing a splat is conveying what the viewer is supposed to be looking at and why it matters. Olli Huttunen's editor treats the splat as a stage, not a destination — you load a capture, define a series of camera views as "slides," and attach annotations, buttons, hotspots, image carousels, embedded video, and PDFs to each.
The editor supports the standard PLY, SPZ, and SOG splat formats as well as conventional 3D meshes (GLB/GLTF, OBJ). Buttons in a Dioramix scene can navigate to a specific camera, swap the active scene, launch an iframe, or link out externally — building a guided walkthrough rather than a free-orbit scene.
