EMX has released ANNX Studio v1.1.11, which rebuilds the 360 panorama modeling pipeline as version 2.0 and accepts 360 still images as project input.
Studio left beta at v1.1.0 at the start of the year and gained 360 panorama input in v1.1.2 in February, but only as video, so a spherical capture had to be shot as footage before it could reach the gaussian splatting trainer. ANNX is EMX's digital twin line, which layers Gaussian Splatting and NeRF onto the company's own CDT technology.
EMX states that the 2.0 pipeline processes faster than 1.0. v1.1.11 also improves Xsplat quality on Windows only and fixes .xply files failing to load in the editor. Xsplat is the high performance preset for large datasets, and the Windows build requires an NVIDIA GPU, with EMX recommending Windows 11 on an RTX A6000 or an RTX 4090.
Three point releases came before it. v1.1.8 optimized the 360 video modeling pipeline, extended measurement in the ANNX AI Editor, and removed the Create Project and Import Project cards from the home screen, moving Import Project under the File menu.
v1.1.9 applied a password length requirement to email sign in and fixed large PLY files failing to load in the editor. v1.1.10 improved Camera Alignment, fixed a 360 panorama error on MacBook, and launched an annual plan for Pro and an Enterprise plan for corporate members. EMX does not publish list prices for either plan.
The download section lists a web target next to the macOS and Windows builds. ANNX Studio is available now for macOS and Windows. Learn more here.
