ANNX Studio

ANNX is the reality capture line of EMX Inc., a company based at 26-12 World Cup Buk-ro 1-gil in Mapo-gu, Seoul. What began as a single desktop application now runs as four products presented together at annx.ai. Technology describes the end to end pipeline of autonomous scanning, 3D reconstruction and data extraction. Hub is the business platform. Studio is the desktop application. VFX covers folding the same reconstruction technology into film and television pipelines through EMX's own visual effects business.

ANNX Studio is the consumer facing product and the one the four-product stack grew out of. It arrived first on macOS in May 2025, reached version 1.01 over that summer, came to Windows with a high performance Xsplat preset aimed at large datasets, and left beta at version 1.1.0 at the start of 2026. The current release is version 1.1.10.

Studio requires macOS 15.1 or later on an Apple M1 chip or later. The Windows build requires an NVIDIA GPU, and EMX recommends Windows 11 with an RTX A6000 or an RTX 4090. Structure from Motion runs inside the application, so images, video and 360 panorama footage go in without a separate COLMAP pass. A web version is listed on annx.ai as coming soon and has not shipped.

Recent releases have concentrated on the editor and on 360 handling rather than on the trainer. Version 1.1.8 optimised the 360 video modelling pipeline and extended the measurement tools in the ANNX AI Editor, the in application editor for inspecting and annotating a trained scene. Version 1.1.9 fixed a failure loading large PLY files in that editor. Version 1.1.10 improved camera alignment and fixed a 360 panorama error specific to MacBooks.

ANNX Hub is the industrial half of the line and does not overlap with Studio. It presents reconstructed assets through a map based interface and is sold against three named problems. Telecom tower management replaces manual inspection and image review with an on site equivalent built from reconstructed 3D data. Construction work detects and analyses structural defects and safety risks, then holds them against precise locations inside the reconstruction. Smart factory work simulates equipment and monitors quality through production stages of large items such as transformers.

Pricing on Studio is credit based with free and paid tiers, and paid tiers unlock export of trained .ply files. Version 1.1.10 added an annual plan discounting Pro and an Enterprise plan for corporate members. EMX does not publish list prices, a headcount or a funding figure. On the commercial side EMX has taken the technology into retail, partnering with SpotLite to bring 3DGS into fashion, and EMX's own visual effects business is the route by which the VFX product reaches production work.
