AnnxStudio has released version 1.1.2, introducing native support for 360 panorama video input and opening a new limited time access window for Pro features throughout February.
The addition of 360 panorama video support is a very nice expansion of AnnxStudio’s capture pipeline. Until now, workflows centered largely around conventional multi-view or standard video inputs. With 360 footage, typically equirectangular video from consumer or professional 360 cameras, users can now feed fully spherical capture directly into the reconstruction process. This is a nice addition, because it spares people from slicing the equirectangular images first and then running SfM prior to processing.
The update arrives shortly after AnnxStudio’s exit from beta with version 1.1.0, which focused on viewer enhancements and stability improvements. The version is available on both Mac and Windows.
Alongside the technical update, AnnxStudio has launched a Special Event period, granting users Pro access for the month of February. The offer echoes earlier promotional windows and provides full feature access.
Built on top of the Brush framework, AnnxStudio has steadily matured over the past year. With 360 panorama support now live, it keeps getting easier to use 360 cameras for gaussian splatting. Learn more about AnnxStudio here.
