Yehe Liu has released ColmapView v0.15, which publishes COLMAP and gaussian splatting projects to Hugging Face in one click.
ColmapView is a drag and drop viewer for COLMAP reconstructions that runs in the browser with nothing to install. It is a separate project from COLMAP, which added its own browser based viewer for sparse reconstructions in 4.2.0. ColmapView draws point clouds, camera frustums, feature matches and multi-camera rigs, supports all 18 COLMAP camera models, and loads .spz and .ply splats alongside the reconstruction.
The new publish dialog signs in with a Hugging Face account and takes a dataset name, a license such as Creative Commons 4.0, and a preview image. ColmapView then uploads the COLMAP model, images, masks, splats and viewer settings to a Hugging Face dataset and returns a single viewer link. The published manifest pins every file to the data revision, and the dataset card disables Hugging Face's dataset viewer so the images folder is not converted to a Parquet table. Published datasets are public, and anyone with the link opens the project through Load URL, which finds the reconstruction wherever it sits in the repository.
ColmapView v0.15 also loads PlayCanvas SOG bundles, which render through World Labs' Spark after the viewer moved to Spark 2.2.0 in v0.14.5. Each SOG is validated before Spark decodes it, rejecting non-WebP textures, duplicate file names, and textures over 16,384 pixels on a side. On phones, a SOG estimated to exceed the splat limit can still be picked with a warning if it fits the 50 MB touch budget. WASD movement also gets its own speed slider, defaulting to 1.0 against the previous shared 2.5.
ColmapView is licensed under AGPL-3.0, with a Section 7(b) clause requiring deployments to display visible attribution, such as "Powered by ColmapView", with a link to the repository. It is available now in the browser.
