About Daentra

Daentra captures complex human action at a scale never attempted. We are building the largest computer vision deployment in history, and with it the standard governments will use to evaluate and approve complex actions performed by robots for humans.

Roles here are broad. Scope grows as fast as you do.

Responsibilities

  • Turn video from many cameras into a 3D model of a space that moves over time (4D reconstruction).

  • Create the foundational models that generate 4d artifacts that feed into a feature rich feature head rich neural net.

  • Build the measurements that say how well a complex action was performed.

  • Take your work from prototype to something running at thousands of sites.

Fundamentals

Very few people have built 4D reconstruction. We hire for the fundamentals underneath it. You should understand, from first principles:

  • How a camera turns the 3D world into a 2D image: projection, lens distortion, calibration.

  • How several cameras recover 3D: triangulation, epipolar geometry, bundle adjustment.

  • How depth is estimated from a single image, and why its scale is ambiguous.

  • How the same point is followed through time, forward and backward: optical flow, point tracking, temporal correspondence.

  • How a moving scene is represented: point clouds, meshes, NeRF, Gaussian splatting.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, math or a related field.

  • Built something real in at least one of: SLAM, structure from motion, AR tracking, autonomous vehicle perception, photogrammetry, depth estimation, 3D graphics.

  • Python and PyTorch, or C++.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Shipped a computer vision system that runs on real hardware.

  • Published or open-source work in 3D vision.

  • Robotics.

Additional Requirements

  • No prior 4D reconstruction experience required.

  • Willing to work 80 hours and weekends when the work needs it.

Compensation

Salary and meaningful founding equity.
