Expert: Gaussian Splatting 3D Specialist for Real Estate Video Walkthroughs

Tropical Drones seeks an expert in Gaussian Splatting (GS) to establish a long-term production partnership.

We are committed to leading the evolution of real estate videography in Costa Rica, and this role is foundational to that goal.

We require a specialist to transform standard real estate listing photographs into high-quality, immersive 3D rendered video walkthroughs. This process will replace traditional, time-consuming FPV drone logistics and cinematic filming with a scalable, AI-driven workflow.

Our Goal:

To create the same cinematic, immersive experience our clients expect, but with increased control over scene flow and lighting, regardless of external conditions (especially Costa Rica's unpredictable weather).

Scope of Work & Deliverables:

Develop a consistent, professional workflow for converting standard input photos into optimized, high-fidelity Gaussian Splatting models.

Render compelling, cinematic video walkthroughs from the 3D models (targeting 60-90 second assets).

Ensure final video assets match a defined quality standard for resolution, realism, and motion.

Required Expertise:

Proven, hands-on experience and portfolio showcasing successful projects utilizing Gaussian Splatting.

Proficiency in 3D rendering pipelines and optimization.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize GS outputs for high visual fidelity and file efficiency.

Strong understanding of how to achieve cinematic results within the 3D rendered environment (e.g., camera pathing, virtual lighting control).

Partnership Structure (Read Carefully):

This is an ongoing partnership, not a one-time job.

Pilot Project:

The engagement will begin with a short, paid hourly contract to complete a single property conversion. This pilot is mandatory to establish quality, efficiency, and workflow compatibility.

Long-Term Contract:

Upon successful completion of the pilot, we will shift to a Fixed Price Per Property Deliverable model for consistent, high-volume work.

We are seeking a reliable partner to handle all production needs as we secure monthly agency retainer contracts.

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 30 hours per week.
