Telemety
Company Description
Telemety, based in New York, is a pioneering company at the intersection of Data Science and Robotics Engineering. We specialize in the science of humanoid robotics movement and the development of intelligent urban robotics designed for dynamic and uncontrolled environments. Our focus is not on building robots but on teaching them to interact and adapt intelligently. At Telemety, we foster innovation and technology that extends the boundaries of modern robotics applications.
We are hiring a Robotics Simulation and Synthetic Data Engineer to build high-quality simulation environments and data pipelines for advanced robotic systems. This role focuses on simulation assets, digital twin workflows, synthetic data generation, and simulation infrastructure used for robotics development, testing, and model training. You will work at the intersection of robotics, simulation, perception, and machine learning. The ideal candidate is comfortable building realistic environments, improving simulation fidelity, and creating scalable workflows that support both development and evaluation.
What You’ll Do:
• Build and maintain simulation environments for robotic systems using modern robotics simulation tools.
• Create and manage simulation assets, scene structure, and environment configurations for training and validation workflows.
• Develop synthetic data generation pipelines for perception and robotics model development.
• Build real-to-sim and sim-to-real workflows using reconstructed or structured scene representations
Support digital twin development for robotics testing, policy training, and system validation
Integrate simulated sensors and robot interfaces with robotics software stacks.
• Improve simulation realism, asset validation, and repeatability across environments.
• Collaborate with robotics software, autonomy, and ML teams to support training and evaluation pipelines.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with digital twins, asset validation pipelines, or simulation realism work
• Familiarity with Replicator, synthetic labeling, or dataset generation workflows
• Experience with NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, photogrammetry, or 3D reconstruction for real-to-sim
• Exposure to RL, robot learning, or policy evaluation in simulation
• Experience with cloud or distributed simulation workflows
• Familiarity with SIL, HIL, or large-scale robotics validation pipelines
Compensation: $115,000 annual salary plus benefits package
Location: onsite in New York City
