Andrii Shramko has published ShramkoGSFPV, a free, open source FPV drone simulator that flies public SuperSplat scenes in the browser.
ShramkoGSFPV runs on WebGPU and the MIT licensed PlayCanvas engine and loads any public gaussian splatting scene from SuperSplat by link or id, with nothing to install. SuperSplat, the PlayCanvas editor that reached version 3.7 on October 26, hosts the scenes, and the visitor's browser pulls them from its public CDN. Scenes saved in SuperSplat's older PLY format do not open yet. Shramko describes the project as alpha, live since September 2026.
ShramkoGSFPV collides with the voxel walls SuperSplat publishes alongside a scan, 3.2 cm voxels on the Winter Garden scene, and sweeps the drone's body against them every 1 ms physics step. Shramko reports 0 penetrations in 50,000 passes at a 2 cm wall, with the drone moving at up to 34 m/s. Scans published without walls can have them built in the browser with SuperSplat's own splat-transform tool, up to 4 million Gaussians.
The flight model has four motors, a mixer and a rate PID with P, I, D and F terms on each axis. Its Betaflight, Actual, KISS and Raceflight rate curves were checked against Betaflight 4.5.1 and match its code at 1,880 points with zero error. Pasting a Betaflight CLI diff loads a quad's rates, PID and throttle curve into the simulated drone.
Six BetaFPV class whoops cover rooms and streets, with the Pavo20 Pro as the default, and three open prop drones modeled on the iFlight Nazgul Evoque F5, Mach R5 Sport and Taurus X8 cinelifter cover larger scans. Gravity presets include Earth, the Moon, Mars and zero g.
Input covers an EdgeTX radio over WebHID in Chrome or Edge, a gamepad, touch sticks and the keyboard. The project README states that the radio path has been tested only with a simulated EdgeTX radio and that gamepad support has not yet been tested on real hardware. Recording runs at 60 fps on Shramko's own scans, and a saved flight log can be rendered again as video at 1080p, 1440p or 4K. The interface is available in English, Spanish, Polish and Russian.
ShramkoGSFPV is available now under the MIT license.
