Just days after releasing Volinga Suite and their latest Unreal Engine plugin, Volinga is back with another big move. This time it's aimed at bridging the gap between demand for content and and production ready Radiance Fields.
Today, the company announced the Volinga Capture Network (VCN), a global initiative designed to connect professional capture studios with the tools, standards, and workflows needed to deliver optimized 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) assets straight into production. For teams working in virtual production, VFX, or immersive media, VCN would mean less friction between scan and scene, and a faster, more reliable path from capture to final pixel.
Rather than individuals, this seems to be aimed at high end capture studios and teams. Volinga Capture Network is about making high quality 3D capture services directly compatible with Volinga’s software stack, namely Volinga Suite and the UE5 plugin. Studios in the network are trained and equipped to deliver these Radiance Field assets that are immediately usable for professional 3DGS rendering.
At launch, the network already includes a handful of forward-thinking partners across film, immersive content, and virtual environments, including Clear Angle Studios, EMX, and Teleportour. For more information, visit https://web.volinga.ai.
