EMX, parent company of Annx Studio, has announced a new collaboration with SpotLite, introducing a 3DGS optimized convertible camera rig designed to be both portable and capable of high fidelity reconstruction. The initiative marks a notable crossover between fashion and radiance fields positioning EMX and SpotLite at the frontier of how real people are represented in virtual space.

The collaboration is primarily centered around two points. The convertible camera rig, a modular system engineered specifically for Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). Unlike conventional photo booths that depend on more than a hundred static cameras, EMX’s adaptive design allows capture in environments with dense spatial overlap. The second is their reconstruction pipeline, Annx Studio, which is built on top of Brush. The result is a scalable, high fidelity digital twin pipeline, one capable of achieving the accuracy demanded by both creative and commercial applications.

Fashion is a great industry to leverage the benefits of radiance field representations. This partnership tackles a much earlier stage of the industry, with previewing potential models for brands. It focuses on verifying the physical specifications of models to ensure authenticity in digital casting. Together, these technologies hint at a broader system where verified data feeds directly into neural rendering pipelines, allowing clients to visualize realistic 3D previews that streamline production while preserving individual identity.

By pairing adaptive 3DGS capture with the fashion industry, EMX and SpotLite are helping bridge the gap between body, brand, and digital reality. While the examples here are static, imagining how the fashion industry can leverage lifelike dynamic 3D feels self evident.

EMX's training platform, ANNX Studio is available for both Mac and Windows. They have also continued to extend free training for both platforms through November. If you have been looking for a new free training method, this is a great one. Explore the result on SpotLite.
