Arrival.space

Arrival Space is back with their newest update to the platform with Version .8. The biggest update in this version is the new Explore Spaces feature. Tucked neatly into the sidebar, it opens up a discovery platform to make it easier to find other people’s spaces across the public Arrival.Space landscape. . If you’re looking for some excellent captures, I highly recommend checking out Christoph Schindelar’s work

Another thoughtful addition is Profile Share. Users can now generate a shareable link to their profile, instantly showcasing all public spaces they've created. Here’s mine!

Performance also got a major lift, with noticeably faster space loading times that make exploration and editing snappier across the board. Annotations now support not just text but images, embedded YouTube videos, and even embedded Arrival.Space environments. While more details are coming soon, this lays the groundwork for fully interactive, media-rich storytelling inside each scene.

On the mobile side, the team has improved camera field-of-view to better suit portrait screens, smoothing out visual presentation for users on phones and tablets. The new Share UI also refines how links and content are shared across the platform.

For creators working inside the Space Edit interface, version 0.80 adds the ability to revert properties back to their default values, a small but welcome productivity booster. Pro users now have additional control, including the ability to set the default camera mode to first person and adjust camera FOV to shape how visitors enter a space.

And as always, version 0.80 includes a wide array of smaller UI tweaks and under-the-hood improvements that make using Arrival.Space feel a little smoother and a little more intuitive each time you log in.

See the full change log here:

  • Explore Spaces: Find popular, latest & featured public spaces — just hit Explore in the sidebar

  • Profile Share: Share your profile (and all your public spaces) via link — check the Share Profile button in your Profile

  • Faster space loading ⚡️

  • Annotations: Now support images, YouTube videos & space embeddings (details coming soon)

  • Mobile: Improved camera FOV for portrait screens

  • New Share UI

  • See who's online

Space Edit:

  • Revert values to default

  • Set default camera to first person (PRO)

  • Set camera FOV (PRO)

+ Tons of small UI tweaks for smoother navigation

More to come soon.
