Spatial Film is a visionOS app for Apple Vision Pro published by METAVERSE STAGE INC. and copyright Hugh Hou. Version 9.2 added a Splat Player, which opens 3D Gaussian Splat .ply files of up to 400,000 splats from Files. An Add from Link option accepts an Insta360 Spatial Capture share link and loads the capture directly, without an intermediate download or conversion step.
Scenes load at 1:1 scale and are navigated by hand. A pinch and drag moves the viewer through the scene and a two handed pinch turns or resizes it. Loaded splats are saved into a library with thumbnails so a scene can be reopened without repeating the import.
The listing carries a version conflict that is not resolved on Apple's side. Spatial Film states that the Splat Player requires visionOS 27 in three separate places, in the promotional text, in the app description and in the What's New notes, while the Compatibility field on the same page reads that the app requires visionOS 26.0 or later. The app as a whole runs on the lower floor and the Splat Player is the part the vendor attaches to the higher one.
