Just over two months after the Niantic owned company, Scaniverse originally announced Gaussian Splatting’s arrival, they’re back with just as exciting news!
Beginning today, users are able to download Scaniverse from the Google Play store and begin capturing on Android.
As a reminder, Scaniverse processes on device, meaning that you never need to upload any data to the cloud or even need phone service.
Most recently Scaniverse added some editing features to their Gaussian Splatting implementation. It still remains free on iOS.
