Finnish VR company Varjo has added embedding support to Teleport, its Gaussian Splatting implementation. The platform, which recently introduced video keyframing and export capabilities, now offers another way to interact with captures.
To generate an embed link, users can click the three dots at the bottom right of a page and copy the embed code. There’s also the option to display a static preview placeholder before the capture loads, only rendering once a client clicks the embed. This helps with performance on the end-user side.
Alongside the announcement, Varjo highlighted several companies and verticals that are already embedding their Gaussian Splatting captures directly into their websites.
Although Teleport’s free plan limits users to five scans per month, Varjo’s implementation still represents state of the art for cloud based Gaussian Splatting reconstruction.
More information about Teleport can be found on its official website.
