XGRIDS has updated its LCC Unity SDK to version 1.2.0 on July 22nd. The release focuses on editing and review workflows, introducing LCC data edit support, mixed 2D and 3D highlighting and clipping, export of mixed clipping results, and a fix for occasional collision failures in very large scenes.
The Unity SDK sits alongside XGRIDS’ broader LCC toolchain. LCC is the company’s scan to lifelike 3D pipeline that combines SLAM capture with Gaussian Splatting, producing compact photoreal results that can be consumed across engines.
Platform coverage for XGRIDS continues to be broad. XGRIDS documents support for Windows and macOS on desktop, Android and iOS on mobile, and compatibility with modern graphics APIs including DirectX 11, DirectX 12, Vulkan, and Metal.
If you are integrating the SDK with XGRIDS capture hardware, note the current firmware guidance. XGRIDS’ support page states that recent software drops require K1 firmware v1.2.0 or later and L2 Pro firmware v2.2.1 or later. Confirm your device firmware before upgrading project dependencies so your capture to Unity pipeline stays compatible.
