AirVis is a Gaussian splat capture and viewing product line from Rockland Technologies, shipping as a mobile and headset app called AirVis and a separate desktop application called AirVis Studio. The mobile app is distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, the Microsoft Store and the Meta Horizon Store, and the product site is airvis.com.
AirVis first appeared as an iOS capture app in October 2025 and now offers three capture modes. Walk Through builds a splat from images or video of a scene shot from multiple angles. Generative World starts from an image or a short video with an optional prompt and generates a splat from it. Object is a photogrammetry mode that captures images while the user circles a subject and returns a textured mesh. Capture is metered by daily credits, two per day free and five on AirVis Pro, and Walk Through accepts 100 seconds of video free against 200 seconds on Pro. Phones without an ultrawide camera fall back to ARKit stills.
AirVis Studio arrived on the Microsoft Store on August 8 2026, a free download of roughly 189 MB published by Rockland Technologies for x64 Windows 10 build 17763 and later. Studio converts standard video, 360 video and image folders into splats, and its Local mode processes source media entirely on the machine. People masking and object isolation run inside the application. Rockland also ships an Apple Silicon build for macOS from airvisstudio.com, and that site still describes Studio as a Mac workspace only.
Studio bundles a Vulkan accelerated viewer that reads RAD, PLY, SPLAT, SPZ, KSPLAT, SOG and SSOG, which covers both World Labs' chunked RAD container and PlayCanvas's streamed SSOG variant of SOG. Cloud Processing is a Pro feature reached from the desktop application, accepting up to 1,000 sorted images at 2048 pixels, standard video capped at the shorter of 15 minutes or 2,000 frames, and 360 video rendered as 16 square views per frame up to 14,400 images at 1024 pixels.
A second Windows listing also named AirVis is a community feed browser for exploring, saving and sharing published scenes rather than a trainer, and it shipped to the Microsoft Store on June 29 2026. Rockland does not publish a headcount, a funding figure or an AirVis Pro price.
