A growing number of platforms now promise to make Gaussian splatting easier and a new platform, Splatware, adds to that. What distinguishes Splatware is how much of the pipeline it attempts to consolidate under one roof. Rather than focusing solely on training or solely on viewing, the platform presents itself as an end to end environment for generating, editing, publishing, and monetizing 3D gaussian splatting models directly in the browser.

Primarily, Splatware is a cloud based training service. Users upload image sets or video, captured from a phone, DSLR, drone, 360° camera, or even existing scan data, and select from several model types tailored to different outcomes. The system handles reconstruction in the cloud and outputs .ply files. The emphasis is on producing web ready assets without heavy workstation setups.

The platform structures its training options around use cases. A lightweight “Lite” model targets quick previews and web embeds with small file sizes. A “Cinematic” model pushes higher fidelity for product showcases or film style renders. A segmentation pipeline isolates foreground objects for cleaner asset extraction, while a panoramic option is designed for large spatial coverage, including 360° captures for interiors and architectural scenes. All of these workflows ultimately reconstruct files intended for WebGL or WebGPU streaming.

Beyond training, Splatware includes an in browser 3D editor. Users can adjust color, clean artifacts, refine scenes, and prepare assets for presentation. There is also a dedicated Photo & Video Studio that renders stills and cinematic flythroughs directly from splat scenes, positioning the tool not just as a reconstruction engine but as a content production environment.

There is also a Virtual Tour Studio. Here, splat scenes can be arranged into guided walkthroughs with shareable links or embeddable viewers. This aligns Splatware with adjacent markets in real estate, architecture, and cultural heritage, where interactive navigation is often as important as raw reconstruction fidelity.

The company has also built a native Marketplace into the platform. Creators can publish and sell their splat models, bundle assets, and track analytics, while buyers can license ready made 3D scenes for their own projects.

For teams working across DCC and engine environments, Splatware provides documented integration paths into Blender, Unreal Engine, and Unity through third party plugins. If you're interested in all the places that accept gaussian splatting, check out my list!

The platform is structured around tiered plans, ranging from a free entry level with capped exports and storage limits to Creator and Pro subscriptions that expand daily exports, project counts, training queues, and access to advanced model types. An Enterprise tier adds API access, dedicated support, and custom configurations for larger deployments.

Splatware enters a landscape where Gaussian splatting tools are rapidly increasing, some optimized for research, others for engines, and others for lightweight viewers.
