Walhar Gohar has released WallGS Pro, a paid edition of his gaussian splatting renderer for Unreal Engine 5 that adds relighting.

The base WallGS plugin was posted as a beta on the Unreal Engine forum in July, importing .SOG v2 and binary .PLY files and generating collision from splat data. WallGS Pro, published on Fab on October 7, adds relighting, culling volumes, Lumen screen traced reflections and runtime import, and the base edition remains on Fab from $49.99.

WallGS Pro relights both static 3DGS and animated 4DGS assets. Normals can be generated automatically, and a blend control mixes the lighting captured in the scan with Unreal's own scene lighting. For static splats, a proxy mesh can be added to drive the lighting, with optional shadow casting.

Splats also appear inside Lumen's screen traced reflections, including animated 4DGS content. Culling volumes can be resized and rotated, with Hide Inside removing a region and Keep Inside cropping the asset to it. The volumes can be driven at runtime through Blueprints, or the cut can be baked into the asset to delete the splats permanently.

WallGS plays 4DGS sequences built from per frame .SOG or .PLY files directly in the engine. Volinga added 4D Gaussian splatting to its Unreal Engine pipeline in July by converting per frame PLY sequences into a single NVOL asset. Runtime import in WallGS Pro loads splat content into a running application without importing it through the editor first.

The Pro listing also covers Spatial LOD with frustum culling and splat budgets, a dedicated Android Vulkan path for standalone OpenXR headsets including Meta Quest, NVIDIA DLSS, depth of field and instancing. Collision is generated as a Static Mesh with Indoor, Outdoor and Object presets, and Gohar describes it as "an approximation of the visible scan." WallGS renders existing splat assets and does not train or generate them. Win64 desktop and PCVR projects require Deferred Rendering, and the listing publishes no performance figures for relighting.

The listing supports Unreal Engine 5.4 through 5.8, and free demos include a 30 million splat Windows build and a Meta Quest APK. Gohar says he has also built a free Windows viewer for testing 3DGS and 4DGS files. WallGS Pro is available now on Fab from $119.99.
